Bootcamp Instructors
Vladimir Fomene
Software Developer and Co-Founder, BitDevs Nairobi.
Vladimir Fomene is a bilingual Cameroonian national with a strong background in software development. He began his career as a backend developer, working with local startups.
Driven by an interest in financial technology, Vladimir transitioned to Bitcoin development through the Qala program, now known as the Btrust Builder Program. After Qala, Vlad became the first Btrust grantee contributing to the Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK). As the pioneer Btrust grantee, he made significant contributions to the Bitcoin Dev Kit (BDK) over approximately two years.
Following his impactful work on the BDK, Vladimir founded Splice Africa, a company he currently runs.
In addition to his development work and entrepreneurial pursuits, Vladimir is a co-founder of Bitdevs Nairobi. A community for Bitcoin enthusiasts in Nairobi to connect and discuss the latest advancements in Bitcoin technology.
